Meet Charlie, lpc-mhsp

ADHD Therapist and Coach for Women in Clarksville, Tennessee

I’m an ADHD therapist and coach who works with adult women in Clarksville and across Tennessee who are navigating overwhelm, emotional intensity, executive functioning challenges, burnout, and self-trust.

This work isn’t about trying harder or becoming someone else.

Many women with ADHD have spent years being told to “try harder,” only to feel like they’re still falling behind. The hardest part often isn’t effort, it’s the combination of overwhelm, self-criticism, perfectionism, and the emotional cost of feeling inconsistent.

This work isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about understanding what’s actually getting in the way and turning that insight into support that is practical and sustainable, not a short burst of motivation that fades.

My Approach

.At the core of my work is helping you make sense of what feels overwhelming and then turning that understanding into support that actually works. What’s often missing isn’t effort or motivation, it’s clarity around what actually helps and how to apply it consistently without burning out. My role is to help you:

  • untangle what’s getting in the way

  • reduce the emotional weight of self-blame

  • simplify where things have become overcomplicated

  • and build support that fits your real life

A little about me

Based in Clarksville, Tennessee, I work with women who are tired of feeling capable on the outside while privately struggling with inconsistency, overwhelm, and self-criticism. Many are incredibly capable and deeply caring, yet they can’t seem to access consistency the way they want and end up blaming themselves for something that needs support, not shame.

I love helping women shift from self-criticism to self-trust, and from survival mode to steadier rhythms that actually hold up in real life. You can expect me to be supportive and validating, but also clear and practical, because I want this work to make a real difference outside of session.

On a personal note, I’m an Army spouse and veteran and a two-time cancer survivor. Living in the military community and moving through serious illness shaped how I understand resilience, uncertainty, and the reality of building support that works in real life, not just in ideal circumstances.

I also have ADHD, so I understand the internal experience firsthand and I’ll help you translate that understanding into sustainable change.
